We ship no babies under 8 wks
The reason we will not ship a baby till at least 8 wks!
If you want your puppy to become an adult who is friendly around dogs and people, then he should not be removed from his family before eight weeks of age. A pup's early exploration of his and his socializing with litter mates and people shapes his personality.
Puppies do not have the ability to see until about two weeks of age. They cannot hear until they are about three weeks of age. When all their sensory organs are functional they start to explore their new environment.
As their motor skills improve, they start to communicate, by barking, using body language and other more "adult-like" behavior. It is during this period that a pup is capable of forming relationships with his other and litter mates. Soon he will spend most of his time playing with his littermates. He will also begin investigating his environment with great enthusiasm and curiosity, following or approaching anything that moves, especially people.
Next, the puppies begin to interact socially. They will climb over and pounce on each other, paw, lick, chew, bite, and even growl at each other. The time a pup spends interacting like this is extremely important for physical and behavioral maturation.
The social relationships pups establish during this period are the building blocks for all adult canine social behavior. The pup learns through play fighting which behaviors result in pleasurable or painful experiences. He learns when to act pushy and when to back down. He learns who he can push around and who he can't. Through interacting with his littermates, he eventually learns to use the correct behavior for the moment.
Providing the puppy has not been isolated from people during this time, he will attempt to interact with you as he did with his siblings. Knowing that he interacted with his litter mates in these ways, you can turn this to your advantage when it comes time to train him.
A puppy that has been purchased from a pet shop or backyard breeder is unlikely to have the opportunity to extensively socialize with people or littermates. He will have been deprived of this important learning experience. It is therefore extremely important to quickly begin to expose the puppy to a variety of other dogs and people if you went trim to be friendly and happy around other dogs and people as an adult.
Let your puppy spend his first seven weeks with his mother, brothers and sisters. You'll be happy with the results!

4) Always VERIFY with your vet BEFORE bringing puppy to the vets office, that the clinic has NOT had any infectious/ contagious disease or sickness inside their clinic and that it is safe to bring puppy inside for exams, vaccinations etc...Any reputable vet will gladly notify the client and reschedule. This is to prevent exposure to your puppy!!!
5) Please read ALL you can on what you plan to feed your puppy. It is the 2nd most important thing you can do for him. Do NOT feed a HI-protein or HI-fat food after the age of 3 months. We have found it causes excessive scratching and shedding!
